"The restaurant offers a large dining area. Able to handle over a hundred people. The staff were friendly. The food was reasonably priced."

"Came here with friends and got the Cadillac. Margarita and their nachos. The nachos were really good. The margarita was pretty weak unfortunately. Still had a nice time with friends and the service was decent. And it's clear that the building has been in use for a very long time by this one restaurant and there are pictures going back many years all along the ceiling and walls."

"The food didn't have any flavor, the salsa didn't even help the flavorless food. The service was very good but the food was mediocre. There are a lot of restaurants in Ely so I don't think I would go back."

"Look no further. Excellent authentic Mexican food, excellent service, and really great atmosphere in the restaurant. Had the carne asada w/rice beans & corn tortillas. 10/10. Would probably eat here way too often if I lived in town! Thanks for a great, memorable meal. Will definitely recommend and be back soon!"

"Very nice service. We had a very nice waiter and the food is mexica. Kids got coloring books as soon as they were seated. The place is decorated with lots of pictures of clients wearing big mariachi sombreros. You may want to order additional tortillas for your meal."

"Solid Mexican food. Ordered Vegetarian Fajitas (not on the menu), which was very good. It came we with rice and beans, guac and sour cream plus lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. (The Fajitas only came with 3 small tortillas, which was definitely not enough, but they happily brought more.) My hubby ordered the Enchilada meal, but there was no enchilada sauce on his enchilada. Very medicre. Service was very good and the young man was very attentive. The interior was clean but oddly decorated with photos all over the wall. We would recommend this place with reservations, based on what you order."

"Got in late to Ely and stopped at La Fiesta right before closing. They still seated us and were super friendly. I ordered cheese tacos with rice and beans, and the waiter even came back out to check if I was vegetarian since the beans were cooked with lard -- such a thoughtful detail I didn't expect in a small town. The vibe was really nice, no one rushed us even after closing. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in town!"
